STG organizes video documentation of Dogra historical sites

Reasi, May 19: Sangam Theatre Group Reasi organised documentation Cultural Heritage of Dogra, Monuments, Art & Craft etc. The documentation was supported by Ministry of Culture (GOI) BTI Section New Delhi, under the scheme of Preservation and Development of Cultural Heritage of Himalayas. Members of the Sangam Theatre Group organized video documentation of historical sites and Cultural Heritage of Dogra like Cultural Events ,traditional marriages, rituals, costumes, Ziarat shreef, temples, , Monuments, Art & Craft etc. at various places of Himalayan and Sub-Himalayan region of Jammu and also organized audio visual programme of art and culture in different schools. During the documentation of rich cultural heritage of the dogras and A.V. Programmes, art experts highlighted the importance of Cultural Heritage of Dogra and also urged that such efforts of organization would be continue in future, to preserve and promote valuable treasures and also benefited for the new generation.
At the time of documentation at Dhera Baba Bhanda Bahadur, Gaddi nasheen gurdwara recorded detail about this historical sites. On the sites of shriens included Ziarat shreef Sambal choa, Chanena Devita and Baba sehar historical places also documented a large number of people present and witnessed.
