| DYSS Samba organizes U-17 Girls Cricket Tournament | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, May 21: District Youths Sport Service Samba organized U-17 Girls Cricket Tournament. The motive of organizing tournament was to empower and encourage the girls in the sports field. The event was organized under the supervision of DYSSO Sunil Kumar and ZPEO Samba Raghuveer Singh was officials of the sport event which held at Maharaja Suchet Singh Stadium Samba. All the zones of district Samba excluding Purmandal Zone enthusiastically took part in the tournament. First match of the tournament was played between Samba zone & Ghagwal zone wherein Ghagwal zone scored 21 runs in 6 overs while Zone Samba won the match by 10 wkts in 2 overs. 2nd match of the was played between Vijaypur Zone & Ramgarh Zone, Ramgarh zone batting first scored 49 runs in 6 overs & Vijaypur zone made only 24 runs in 6 overs. Ramgarh zone won the match by24 runs. The final match of the tournament was played between the teams of samba zone & Ramgarh zone toss won by Samba zone & elected to field. |
