BASOHLI, May 21: The Career and Counseling Committee of Government Degree College (GDC), Basohli today launched free coaching classes for preparing JUET and PG Entrance examinations of various universities, banking and competitive exams for the students. The initiative was undertaken under the guidance of Principal of the college, Prof R S Jamwal. The coaching classes will function continuously upto June 5. Principal Prof Jamwal in his inaugural address welcomed the participating students and discussed in detail the significance of free coaching classes. He impressed upon the students to take full advantage of these classes which are aimed to promote the competitive ability of the students belonging to remote areas and to enable them to compete with their counterparts studying in city colleges of Jammu and Kathua. Prof Rakesh Singh, Convener of the Career and Counseling Committee discussed in detail the content of these classes and informed the participants that effort will be made to develop their numerical solving ability, General English, vocabulary, reasoning, general science etc. |
