SSP holds meeting with retired Police Personnel

Kishtwar, May 21: In order to aware the welfare measures and to redress the grievances, a meeting of retired officers was held by SSP Kishtwar Shakti K. Pathak, at DPL Kishtwar, in which around 30 retired Police personnel's were attended the meeting.
The participants were welcomed by SSP Kishtwar and thanked for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting. He assured them that police is always at their disposal and asked them not to feel isolated. Further assured them that they are still part of Police organization and they can approach any Police officer or police unit at any given time whenever they are in need.
It was also made clear in the meeting that retirees are always welcome for their valuable suggestions and there is great respect for them in the Police organization as they have rendered a long service and toiled hard to earn a name for the organization. Various measures are taken by the Police department for the welfare of retired Police personnel and their wards were read out for availing the facilities of the said measures.
The retirees raised various issues in the meeting and a patient hearing was given by SSP Kishtwar and they were assured that their demands /problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their redressal. The meeting was also attended by Addl. SP Kishtwar Nasir Ahmed , and DySP DAR DPL Kishtwar Iftikhar Ahmed.
The meeting was concluded with the vote of thanks and with the assurance that such meetings will be held on a regular basis in future to redress the grievances of the retirees.
