Manohar pays floral tributes to Rajiv Gandhi

Kathua, May 21: Former Minister and President DCC kathua Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today paid floral tributes to Former Prime Late Rajiv Gandhi on his 28th death anniversary as a mark of tribute to departed leader. While addressing meeting of party workers at Billawar and Dayalachak Dr Sharma remembered his selfless services and sacrifices to the Nation and described Rajiv Gandhi as a tallest leader of the Country under whose leadership the Nation touched the new heights in respect of development, education, science and technology. Further he said that Rajiv Gandhi was the architect of Panchayat Raj System, who introduced Panchayat System in the country aiming to ensure development of the people at grass roots level, which proved a milestone in the over development of the poor and downtrodden section living in the country and also Rajiv Gandhi was hailed as the father of Information Technology and Telecom revolution of India popularly known as architect of Digital India.
He said, "Rajiv Gandhi had brought the telephone once limited to the living rooms of elite to roadside booths for the convenience of the common man. He played a key role in bringing IT industry to India and we are enjoying its fruits now.
Manohar said that martyrdom of Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi would continue to lead the nation at the path of unity, harmony and development. On this occasion Dr. Sharma also lashed out at BJP and its leadership who left no stone unturned out of desperation to defame Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi in order to hide his utter failure on all fronts and said the baseless and false propaganda on the part of BJP will never change the reality that present NDA government led by Sh. Narender Modi has damaged the economy and secular fabric of the Country to serve his dirty political ends.
