| Locals of Digiana stage protest against XEn UET Deptt | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 21: Locals of Digiana again came on roads and blocked the road outside Police Chowki Digiana led by ABVP leader Deepak Gupta and Sr. Leader Avtar Singh Khalsa against XEn UET Department. While the road was blocked Former Minister Ch. Sham Lal also stopped and joined the people for hearing their grievances. As the national highway was blocked yesterday and meeting was fixed with the XEn UET who came to the spot late due to which road was blocked and protest erupted. Municipal Corporator Ward no. 46 Dwarka Choudhary also joined the people today for their cause XEn UET accompanied by AEE UET and SHO Gandhi Nagar came on the spot and people raised slogans against the authority. He said that the work of black topping for the portion between Cremation Ground and Digiana Pulley be completed by 30th May 2019 and the Balance Nallah work be completed by Mid - June. Ch. Sham Lal (Former Minister J&K Government) also warned the authority if there would be any further delay, he would himself be on the roads with people for their cause. |
