Special advisory for hassle free vehicular movement on counting day

KATHUA, May 21: Since, the Polling process of Parliamentary Election-2019 has been concluded peacefully in this jurisdiction and the government has announced the counting of Polls of Parliamentary Election-2019 in respect of Kathua-Udhampur-Doda constituencies at Govt. Degree College Kathua on 23rd of May, 2019.
It is expected that there shall be huge gathering of Political parties/workers and General public on the said occasion to witness the counting process.
In order to ensure hassle free vehicular movement on the counting day i.e 23.05.2019 at Kathua, the following advisory is hereby issued in favour of general public for its implementation in true letter and spirit:-
No passenger vehicles shall enter the Kathua Town (City) from Kali Bari Chowk. All sorts of vehicles shall ply from Kali Bari Chowk towards New Bus stand Kathua via Hatli Morh Chowk and vice - versa. No passenger vehicle shall ply from New Bus stand towards Shaheedi Chowk to Degree College. The Vehicles plying from Nagri road shall halt at Nagri Bus stand. No vehicle shall be allowed towards stadium side and inside City.
It shall be strictly ensured that no vehicle shall be allowed to ply or park near the venue of counting centre. The Traffic Police Rural Jammu has already made adequate and effective traffic arrangements on the said occasion. The violators found, if any, shall be dealt under the provisions of MV Act.
The general public, as well as, Transport Associations/Drivers are hereby informed through the medium of this advisory to follow the above guidelines and help the traffic Police personnel deployed on the said occasion for making hassle free vehicular movement.
