MENDHAR, May 21: Several villages in Mendhar Sub-Division are facing acute shortage of water for the last couple of months.
Reports received from various areas of Sangoite Mohra Kallar Balakote, Mankote Kalaban Ghani Baloni Dharna and Upper Gursai in Mendhar Sub Division said that due to leakage of PHE pipes .
The people alleged that matter was brought to the notice of the concerned field staff and also the officials at PHE Sub Division, Mendhar on several occasions but no improvement in the water supply has been witnessed. They sought the intervention of DC Poonch and Chief Engineer PHE Jammu into the matter. |
