Jammu, May 21: In order to know about the problems being faced by the inhabitants of Ward 36 and continuing his routine to meet with public, former State President BJP and EX Minister Sat Sharma (CA) visited the ward and interacted with hundreds of inhabitants.
Sharma was also accompanied by Corporator Ward 36 Subash Sharma, State Secretary and Incharge Jammu West Praduman Singh, Sangathan Mantri Mohan Singh Rana and many others. During his visit in the ward several problems were discussed with the locals of which majority were solved on the spot.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful visit was conducted in the area along with the local Corporator and several other leaders and locals and it was found out that there was requirement of some basic things in the ward including installation of gratings, Sanitation in some Muhallas of the ward and some lanes that are required to be upgraded. Sharma said the problems of the inhabitants have been told to the concerned officers of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) and they will be dealt in a day or two in order to avoid public distress in the area.
Sharma also stated that during his tenure as MLA, the roads and lanes of the ward were completely macadamized and many transformers were also upgraded and installed in the area which has provided a lot of relief to the locals.
