ADDC Kishtwar calls for physical verification of employees in Marwah, Warwan

Jammu, May 21: In order to check attendance of employees in far flung areas of Marwah and Warwan Tehsils of Kishtwar District, Additional District Deve-lopment Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik today ordered for physical verification of the employees posted in the area and directed the Tehsildar Marwah & Warwan along with concern SHOs to prepare the list of the employees who are physically present on the duty falling in the respective jurisdictions of Marwah and Warwan Tehsils.
As per the details available with "Early Times", ADDC Kishtwar vide wireless massage No. ADDC/K/2019-20/101-105 Dated 21-5-2019 addressed to Tehsildar Marwah/ Warwan/ SHO Marwah/S HO Warwan with information to SDM Marwah has asked them to furnish the physical attendance report of each Officer/Officials of all the departments working in their respective jurisdictions tomorrow on 22-5-2019 before 12 noon.
The official has been asked to submit the details in the format mentioning Serial No.of the employee, name of the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Total Employees whose's salaries are being drawn from Marwah/Warwan treasury, name of employees, designation, place of posting, on deputa

He directed the concern official to treat the matter as urgent.
Speaking to "Early Times" the ADDC said that the directions has been issued after several people complain about growing absenteeism in this remote part of the District. He said that in addition to this, DC had already constituted attendance monitoring committee headed by Junior Scale KAS Officer Mohsin Raza Ahanger who is regularly monitoring the daily attendance of the employees in the District.
He said that District Administration will ensure that all the offices sanctioned on the name of Marwah and Warwan Tehsils will function within their respective jurisdictions added that no office will be allowed to function from Kishtwar Headquarter.
It is pertinent to mention that Early Times several time highlighted the issue of growing absenteeism culture in Marwah and Warwan areas and only last week carried a detailed news item highlighting the menace as a result of the poor people of this one of the remotest area of the state are suffering on account of public delivery system at door step.
