POONCH, May 22: The tragedy with helpless officials/officers of Jammu and Kashmir is that, "there is no transparency in transfers". Influential officers enjoy posting at choicest places there jobs as per their choices whereas helpless officers are kept behind the walls.
An example of such partiality is an officer of 2012 batch has is posted at same place for seven years.
According to sources, the first posting of a DySP was in JKAP-7th BN in Kupwara after his cracking KPS in 2012 who is still at same post whereas as his batchmates have been transferred four to five times.
Sources from JKAP informed early times that 7th BN of JKAP is transferred to Jammu one year ago and DySP is still in Jammu at same place. Sources further informed that the tragedy with that KPS officer is that belongs to disadvantages community. The transfer of said officer shows the mismanagement in Jammu and Kashmir poliec. There are many other officers who are still waiting their transfers but higher authorities of police are unmoved and busy in eligise of political leaders. |
