Modi wave fails to cross Pir Panjal mountain range
5/26/2019 11:06:51 PM
Modi wave or charisma were stopped by the lofty pir Panjal mountain range to prevent any magic from entering the valley. If PDP leader, Mehbooba Mufti, whose PDP had won all the three seats in the Kashmir valley and plus 25 seats in the Assembly poll remained a great loser because it had contested three seats but drawn a black. Why Mehbooba who had retained Anantnag seat like her father lost it only because of her alliance with the BJP. She formed a coalition Government with the BJP and that was her undoing. Majority of people in the Kashmir valley are born to hate the BJP and that is the reason why Mehbooba lost the election. And her alliance with the BJP that culminates into a coalition Government that was the final resentment among the people in Kashmir. Those who do not believe it should also be aware of the killing of a BJP candidate in Anantnag. Though he was a Muslim candidate but people resented him for having joined the BJP and during ther last over one year south Kashmir has been quite violent and provides shelter to many terrorist outfit, especially those belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammad. It has taken a regional character as far as the Kashmir centric leraders are concerned. Well the National Conference has won all the three seats and its President Dr Farooq Abdullah believes that his loud outbursts against revocation of Article 370 and Article 35-A may not have gained peoples" sympathy because her political foe Mehbooba Mufti raised a bigger cry against these Articles. And the indications are that the National Conference and the Congress may contest the ensuing Assembly election in alliance with each other. It is successful mission and the PDP may have to seek a prominent political party minus the BJP with whom it can join the alliance for contesting the polls. This time even though Modi have won the elections and even carved out seats in West Bengal but his charisma is quite weak to give a winning chance to BJP. And the BJP may not get any support. Yes Mehbooba could have alliance with Peoples' Conference Chief and others but she has to beat the Congress and the NC alliance which was impossible for her.
