Free eye camp organized

Jammu, May 26: Asha Kiran Welfare Society in collaboration with SVMM Charitable Hospital Ambphalla Jammu organised a free eye camp at Baba Lal Ji Temple Hall Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, President, SVMM Jammu, Ex-MOS Defence, Government of India. In the Camp, Dr. Ghanshyam Singh and Dr. Sharuti Gupta Eye Specialists along with supporting staff Samiha Khajuria, Vinod Arora ( Refrectionist), Mohan Lal Sharma (Senior Pharmacist) extended their services in the camp.
More than 180 patients screened for different ailments of eyes and about 20 patients were detected for Cataract surgery. Prof. Gupta in his inaugural speech appreciated the efforts of the society for providing services to the needy and poor people by organising such camps in the area and hoped that the society shall continue such work for the society at large.
Dr. J.P. Gupta Chairman, Jaswant Manhas, Vice President, Surinder Sharma, Subhash Sharma, Romesh Lal Gupta, Ram Chand, Hari Chand Gupta, Rajan Handa, Ram Chand, Surinder Bhasin and other executive members of the society are also present in this eye camp.
