Women run "Mirchi Gang of Girls" organized

Jammu, May 25: Department of Tourism, Jammu in association with Burn a tonn Unisex fitness club and 98.3 Mirchi Jammu organised 'Mirchi Gang of Girls' , a women fun run under the theme 'She runs this town' . The fun run was flagged of from the Mubarak Mandi Complex by Director Tourism, OP Bhagat, Deputy Director Publicity, Anusuya Jamwal and Nidhi Abrol - the owner of Burn a Tonn, and went on all the way to the Sidhra Golf Course.
When one can be fit enough to go for the fun run, they can easily enjoy and experience the untouched beauty of the Jammu city and can visit places like Sanasar, Patnitop, Akhnoor Fort, Basoli, Manwal and other unexplored locations of our beautiful Jammu province. That's why fitness of women is related to the buzz around the city's scenic places. The event was hosted by Mirchi Shwetima who made sure that the energy of all the participants was up to the mark and made sure they all had a lot of fun along with experiencing the adrenaline rush. More than 800 women ran together in this fun run showing the strength of the women. Mirchi Shwetima is more famously known as Jammu di Kudi and she was shown so much love by all the participants. Her show is on air Monday to Saturday 7 AM onwards on 98.3 Mirchi. The event also included many fun activities for the participants.
A team from Pune was there giving a session named F SQUAD who made all the participants groove to the hardcore fitness routines. Women often neglect their health as they are always concerned about the health and well being of their family members, but seeing such energetic women on the run was a reminder to all the other women that it is equally important for them to be concerned of their own health as well. F Squad was also encouraging all the participants and helped them put their best foot forward by keeping the Josh high. The team bought his own part of fun and entertainment for the participants. This event was co-powered by Mulk raj Ashok Kumar Jewellers as they were in full support of the cause of the event. The associate sponsors for the event were Studio Page 3 Salon. Garden Estate extended their hands as the Food and hospitality partners. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Speciality also extended their support as the Health partners and all were responsible for the success of the event. Our other partners included Aptechmontana international preschool Gandhi Nagar, Tiens, Auto partner Shree Toyota, Our Morning Tea Partners: Nature's Aroma, Photography-Shutterflame.
The winner who got the first prize was Darshi Charak followed by Shivangi Gupta and Sonali Sharma. Other winners included Sheetal, Karishma Mani and Spalzes Angmo. The winners of the run were given trophies by OP Bhagat and there was a significant participation from the JK Police women personnel, schools and colleges throughout the city. The event was a huge success thanks to all the women who indeed believe that they run this town.
