Jammu, May 26: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum today held a meeting and discussed their demands. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria and the issues discussed included release of salary in favour of masters known as head teachers working under erstwhile SSA scheme, pending since January 2019to till date, conversion of Undergraduate RRETs to General line Teachers Grade II, regularisation of ReTs who have completed their five years of regular services as ReTs. Ganesh Khajuria lambasted on the higher authorities of the Education Department for their dilly delaying approach towards the release of salary in favour of the Head Teachers working under erstwhile SSA scheme who are at the verge of starvation as they are without salary since January 2019 till date even in the holy month of Ramadan. Prominent who were present in the meeting included Yograj Slathia, Surat Singh Toofani, Darshan Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Shankar Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bandral,Haji Mohd. Iqbal, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, P.D.Singh, Kuldeep Verma, Sushil Sharma, Gautam Singh, Sham Badyal and many others. |
