Medical camp organized by Sikhs 4 All Foundation

JAMMU, May 26: Dedicated to 550th anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, a mega medical camp was organized by Sikhs 4 All Foundation, Self Education Trust and Rotary Club Jammu Elite in collaboration with ASCOMS, Jammu (Batra Hospital) at Sikligarh Colony, Gobind pura Chatha, Jammu.
In the camp a number of doctors which included Dr, Atul Gupta HOD Medicine, Dr. Vikram Sharma, Dr. Rohit Raina, Dr. Imran DR. Sunny Raina, Dr. Yasir from medicine Deptt., Dr. K. S. Mehta HOD, Dr. H.S. Bali, Dr. Jharna Verma, Dr. Inreet Kour from Surgery deptt., Dr. Prianka Sharma, Dr. JAnpreet Singh, Dr. Ishaan Kohli from paediatrics Deptt., Dr. Sunny Sharma from orthopaedics, Dr. Farhan Yaqoob from deptt. Of Gynaecology, Dr. Raja Ramanbir Singh from ENT Deptt. And Dr. P.S.Raina from dental Deptt. Examined about 550 patients. J&K Sikh Professionals Group conducted on spot clinical tests and distributed free medicines to the patients.
The colony, where the medical camp was organised belongs to underprivileged and downtrodden section of the society and they were in very much need of such type of camps and health awareness. Dr. K.S.Mehta HOD surgery assured on behalf of ASCOMS that free medical treatment would be provided to the needy patients in the hospital including free surgery and other ailments. He, being the in charge of the team largely appreciated the arrangements and efforts put forward by the organisations and said that smooth conduct of such camps is the need of the hour and services to humanity should be our Moto. Among the organizers who made this camp successful included S Manjeet Singh Bali, Convener Sikhs4all Foundation, S Rajinder Singh Retd ZEO, S Jagjit Singh, S N P Singh, S Jasmeet Singh S Harsharan Singh, S Ajitpal Singh, S Jagjeet Singh, S T.P.Singh, Gurminder Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, S Baljeet Singh Modi, Surjeet Kaur, S Dharamveer Singh, S Paramjeet Singh, S. Balwinder Singh and others members of Sikhs4all Foundation. Self Educational Trust volunteers included S.Randhir Singh, S Tripat Singh adn their team.
Rotary Club was represented by S. Robin Singh Mehta, Gurvinder Kaur, Dr. Manisha Kohli, Jyoti Sharma, Sangita puri, Ritika Gupta and Sanjeev Vaid.
S. Manjit Singh Bali Convener Sikhs4all Foundation informed the Press that the foundation has been silently working in the area for about three years and has jprovided free computer education, free academic tuitions to the deprived children of the area and has organised such medical camps including eye camps for the benefit of the people of the area.
