ReT Forum demands conversion of undergraduate teachers to Grade-II teachers

Jammu, May 25: ReT Forum has demanded conversion of undergraduate teachers to teaches Grade-II, release of salary and initiation of regularization process. According to press release, a monthly meeting of J&K RET Teachers Forum was today held at exhibition Ground Jammu under the leadership of Provincial President Rajesh Singh Jamwal which was attended by the various representatives of Jammu province. Jamwal strongly demanded the immediate release of pending SSA salary as teachers who are not converted to Grade II including under graduate teachers are without salary for last five months and their families are suffering badly and are on the verge of starvation. He appealed to the Governor administration to release the pending salary of these teachers at the earliest as holy month of Ramzan is going on and festival of Eid is approaching . He also appealed the Governor administration to issue the order of Conversion to Teachers Grade II in favour of undergraduate teachers so that their salary issue gets resolved.
He also urged the authorities of Education department to initiate the regularisation process of RETs who have completed 5 years of period and are waiting for the same for last two years. He also appealed the Director School Education Jammu to issue the Grade II orders of left out graduates. Others who also spoke on the occasion were Ravinder Singh, subash chander, suresh kumar , surinder sharma, bodh Raj, jasbir Singh, dinesh thapa, Rajeet Singh, Hans Raj , Rajinder Singh, Roshan Bral, surinder Singh, Manzoo Ahmed, Randhir singh and Jagjit Singh.
