'UNISON-2019 The Debating Fest' Begins

Udhampur, May 29: UNISON, the debating phenomenon started at DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL UDHAMPUR today, where in students participated with full vigour and enthusiasm under different categories such as bilingual Turncoat, conventional debate, photo and video journalism, Panel Discussion.
The Chief Guest at the opening ceremony was the Honourable Pro-Vice Chairman of the school Dr. J.C.Gupta. Vivek Gupya MD DPS UDH, Sucheta Gupta Academics Director and Mridul Gupta Managing committee member were also present.
The programme begin with lighting of lamp followed by Cultural Programme. After that students were allotted different venues according to their chosen topics, where a group of teacher and student judges were deputed to judge the candidates.
Unison 2019, being a new and unique way of Debating , by not just sticking to conventional form of debate , but truly a new and creative version of the same.
Principal Dr Kunal Anand , while addressing the students said that such debates will open new avenues and new horizons for them . He elaborated the concept of Unison and said that this is the 2nd year when the school is organizing this event.
By the end of the event, shortlisted students were given fresh topics for day two. The program will conclude on 31st May on a gala prize distribution and cultural program . The event was held under the supervision of Bhanvi Sharma Sr. Coordinator and the program was organized and conceived by Rakhi Gupta CCA coordinator.
