He further said doors of the party are open for those who want to join it. Party will welcome them whole-heartedly. “BJP is not a place for fulfilling personal ambitions. For us, politics is a medium of social service. Apart from Government, every individual should make contribution for social cause. A political worker can do this in a better way,” Gupta stated. He highlighted various developmental works executed during his tenure as MLA and said the development works shall be continued for already approved projects. The workers in BJP are backbone to the party and every worker has to play a different role to play, Gupta Said. He cautioned the general public for the false propaganda the rival parties play during elections. Every citizen of the area is aware of the face of Congress which is the reason that its senior leaders have started deserting party.

Ankush Gupta in his welcome address said, it is due to the clean and good governance of the Narendra Modi government and the able leadership of chief Amit Shah that the BJP has become the single largest party in terms of primary membership. He also lauded the role of Kavinder Gupta whom we can call the “Man of Development”. He said that unlike past we can see the quality works being executed by every department in Gandhi Nagar Constituency from the date he took over as MLA of the constituency.

Arvind Sharma in his address said, he was feeling suffocated in the Congress due to the negative attitude of its leaders towards Jammu. He said I have worked in different capacities in the congress before being elevated to District Organizing Secretary, but due to the Kashmir-centric policies of the party every worker from Jammu is feeling like Cheated. He said he is a big fan of Prime minister Modi and believes that Prime Minister Modi is the Leader of Modern India who has the will power for the overall growth of the Country. He also lauded the positive approach of Kavinder Gupta and his eagerness to serve the people of state in general and Gandhi Nagar Constituency in Particular.
