6/11/2019 9:46:33 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, June 11: An extension lecture on "Engineering Technology and Research Methodology" was held at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) by Professor Noe G Alba-Baena, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Technology, Autonomous University of Ciucad, Jaurez (UCAJ), Mexico.
He is a PhD from the University of Texas with 24 scholarly publications and more than 15 years of sustained contribution to the teaching fraternity. YCET believes that well-conducted research is vital to the success of global endeavors. Not only does a healthy research environment form the foundation of knowledge and skill development in the institute but also help in capability building.
Prof Noe, elaborated that research draws its power from the fact that it is empirical, rather than merely theorizing about what might be effective or what could work. The quality which you maintain while research should always be high so that the information that you get can be used in certain policy and any future project implications. He further emphasized that working on a research project will obviously be a challenging and rewarding experience, provided you put the best of your expertise and skill in it.
