Jammu, June 11: Health Centre University of Jammu in collaboration with The 'Sure Diagnostics' Gandhi Nagar Jammu conducted a free Medical Camp in New Campus today from 5.30 AM to 7.30 AM for the morning walkers. The Medical camp was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof. (Dr) Keshav Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs university of Jammu by giving his first blood sample. In his address, Prof Sharma said that in the present times when incidence of diseases is so high and environment is polluted all around such camps are very helpful in preventing the diseases at a primordial stage. The conduct of the camp was supervised by Dr. Shabana Azmi, Medical Officer, University of Jammu. The team of Sure Diagnostics Lab was headed by Dr. Sumedha Mengi (Pathologist). During the camp 84 morning walkers including faculty members, students, employees and university residents volunteered their blood sample for screening. Dr. Shabana eulogized and appreciated the initiative and management of the 'Sure diagnostics'. Dr Dumedha Mengi thanked the University Authorities for collaboration and providing the logistics and assistance. The University Executive health Officer Aman Sharma and pharmacist Ravi Gupta along with other staff facilitated the conduct of the camp. |
