Sidharth Daluja re-elected as president Volleyball Association of J&K

JAMMU, June 11: The Volleyball Association of J&K in its Executive Body and General Body members meeting re-elected Sidharth Daluja as President, Vijay Kumar Magotra as Hony. Gen. Secretary and R.C Sharma as Treasurer respectively yesterday evening here at Hotel Lemon Tree Jammu.
The general council meeting of the Association was Co-chaired by Sh. Raj Daluja Patron-in-Chief and Shri Sidharth Daluja President. Besides deliberating on various aspects for the conduct various Volleyball events, Vijay K. Magotra Gen. Secretary read out 4 years achievements/short fall report of the Association.
The election of new body of VAJK for the 2019-2023 term was held under the supervision of Shri Jagir Singh Randhawa Observer from Volleyball Federation of India, Shri Kuldip Singh Jamwal as Observers from J&K Olympic Association and Shri Ravi Singh and Shri Ashok Singh as Observers from J&K State Sports Council.
Earlier in order to pave the way for election of new office- bearers for the term 2019-2023 as per constitution and bye laws of the Association, the President S. Daluja nominated Vivek Sharma-senior most member of the Association as 'Returning Officer', before dissolving the house. Vivek Sharma thanked the house for the responsibility given to him for the smooth/ transparent conduct of election.
Sidharth Daluja soon after his re-election sought the cooperation of all the members in achieving excellent results in Volleyball game in the State. President thanked the members for reposing confidence on him and his team and assured every possible help in boosting Volleyball game.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted effectively by Kuldeep Mangotra CEO.
