JAMMU, June 11: Gandhi Global Family (GGF) in collaboration with Bharat Scouts and Guides Jammu called a condolences meeting of eminent people across the society today at its assembly hall and paid floral tribute to Shakuntla Joshi wife of MM Joshi, Retd Wing Commander. She was ex-vice president of GGF and was an eminent educationist.
ID Soni, Commissioner, under whose presidentship the programme was organized, BS&G presented scarfs to visiting guests as token of respect The program organized under kind presidentship of him.
Prof Shilovt Dominic who is an eminent educationist, former vice chancellor and GGF envoy to United Nation was the chief guest who joined the tribute function and paid his floral tributes to the departed soul. He said that she was working for global peace being an active member of GGF and talking about human sufferings to be addressed. He requested to guests to fulfill her remaining tasks be taken forward by other members. Two minutes silence was also observed and national anthem was sung at the end. |
