US Govt warns Pakistan against export of terror to India
6/11/2019 11:08:25 PM
The US Government has issued a warning to Islamabad to promote peace in Kashmir which is bound to prevent destabilisation of the entire region including Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. What is a matter of worry is that destabilised Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh could impact India. That is the reason that Donald Trump has urged Pakistan to start talks over the bilateral issues. But Pakistan has been in control of the Armed forces which claim that destabilised India could give some advantage to Pakistan because so long Pakistan pushes groups of militants into Kashmir there could be no peace in the region. Hence destabilised Kashmir could grant some advantage to Pakistan to meddle in the affairs of Kashmir. And that is the reason for Modi to cancel the proposed meetings with Imran Khan on the sidelines of the Shanghai conference. And senior offiicers from Pakistan and India had assembled at Shanghai to help their respective Prime Ministers to evolve a formula which would resolve the conflict between India and Pakistan. Talks were cancelled because Pakistan wanted to export terror to India and in particular Jammu and Kashmir. That was the reason for the US President to issue warnings to Pakistan to concede India's demand which could lead to the resumption of talks. Since the separatists in Kashmir and the Kashmir centric politicians want resumption of bilateral dialogue which could settle some of the ticklish issues leading to peace. And if Pakistan wishes to export terror to India and to J&K not only the US President Trump may intervene and India may take some punitive measures. And let Pakistan Government asserts itself before the Army and direct its senior officers to stop; export of terror to India which could reopen the gates of bilateral dialogue. Had not Modi gone on one extreme and cancelled his proposed meeting with Imran Khan at Shanghai things would have taken a positive shape.
