| NC delegation calls upon DDC Poonch | | |

Poonch, June 11: A delegation of National Conference today called on District Development Commissioner Poonch and apprised him about their problems. According to press release, the deputation was headed by former legislator and youth provincial president Ajaz Jan. The main point of discussion during the meeting was Gali Maidan to Angan Patri road under GREF as the land compensation of local population is pending even after twelve years.
Members also decried delay in completion of Poonch Kamsar road.
Ajaz Jan demanded an audit of all the pending road projects in Poonch with aim to fix the responsibility of executing agencies which led to delay in completion. Problems faced by people in view of shortage of drinking water in several areas was also discussed in the meeting.
Strong concern was also expressed on bringing a major human habitated area of Loran under the control of wildlife and members demanded a review on the move. Jan seek pro-active approach of district administration in all the mentioned issues so that miseries of masses can come to an end.
District development commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav assured the participants of the deputation that he will personally look into all the genuine issues taken up. |
