Jammu, June 11: Maratha Mohalla slum area which was burnt down recently in fire incident where around 400 slum people were living there. This incident records loss of homes, utensils, clothes, books, food, basic amenities- basically everything turned to ashes for slum people living here. Upon hearing about the brutal mishap, Team Aradhana- A ray of hope has been constantly working from 03/06/19 to 11/06/19 day and night to help people get back on their feet and cope up with the poor living conditions. Aradhana- a ray of hope's team members surveyed the area everyday to determine magnitude of loss and provided instant help on most needed spheres. Approximately 400 people were helped everyday and were provided with essentials like Water Tankers consisting of Clean drinking water. |
