| Naka Manjhari village without water for last one week | | |

MENDHAR, June 12: Several villages of Naka Manjhari area of Mendhar are without water supply for the last one week as its pumping station is lying defunct. The villagers alleged that motor and transformer of Naka Manjhari middle PHE pumping station went out of order a week back, affecting the water supply.
The matter was also brought to the notice of PHE staff at Mendhar Sub Division, but they claimed that fault pertained to PHE Mechanical wing Poonch. The villagers urged upon the higher authorities at Poonch to ensure water supply to the area. Sarpanch Naka Manjhari Middle Saif Ahmed khan have urged upon the Deputy Commissioner Poonch to come to the rescue of helpless public. |
