Charri Yatra for Sudh Mahadev to commence on June 17

JAMMU, June 12: Chari Yatra for holy shrine of Sudh Mahadev will commenced from here on June 17 for the first time ever. It was disclosed by the members of Sudh Mahadev Charri Yatra Aaayojan Samiti during a press conference held at ancient Panjbakhtar Temple (Rupaye Wala Mandir) today.
Samiti Members Narinder Sharma, Varun Magotra, Baldev Khullar, Anand Gandotra, Madan Lal Malagar, Ram Magotra, Vikas Sharma, Sourav Kumar and Pandit Sahil Sharma were present in the press briefing.
Samiti members said that the temples of Sudh Mahadev have their reference in religious books like Padam Puran and Shiva Puran.
Samiti members said that after Chari Pujan on June 16 at 5.30 pm in Panjbakhtar Temple, the Chari Yatrs On 17th (Monday), Chari Yatra will start from Panjbhaktar temple early next morning at 5.30 am with pomp and show. Chari will be carried by Sant 1008 Swami Damodar Dass Ji Maharaj (Varindavan Wale). It will have puja at Shiv Temple, Nagrota, Devika Temples (Udhampur), at Chenani Town and finally at Sudh Mahadev Temple, they added.
Samiti appealed to all Jammuites and Shiv Bhakts who want to accompany Chari Yatra, individual or in group, register themselves and their vehicles in Samiti office, Panjbakhtar Mandir, Jammu.
