Udhampur, June 16: The tourism department has taken cognisance of early times report published in its June first edition titled
"Three yrs on tourist huts, cafe nowhere in sight ''
The news items highlighted that , work on tourism huts and cafe was started three years ago but to this day ,neither the huts have come up nor the cafe at panchari in Udhampur district even the construction work continued for two yrs but was abandoned for unknown reasons ,sources said adding costly Malaysian wood has been left to rot at the site
After ET intervened within one and half week tourism department finally restarted the construction of huts at panchari in district udhampur
Local residential of panchari expressed their gratitude to the newspaper for highlighting their problem which ultimately shook the conscience of authorities concerned. |
