NCP Chief pays tributes to Major Ketan Sharma

JAMMU, June 18: Veteran leader and Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP Chief J&K state paid richest tributes to Major Ketan Sharma who was martyred in an encounter with a group of terrorists in the Achabal area of south Kashmir's Anantnag District. Along with him, two brave hearts also injured in the encounter. The joint operation was conducted by 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Singh appealed to the Prime minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh must take action against the Pakistan and it is right time to abrogate Article 370 and 35A. Singh also demanded that the height of Dogras and their qualification for the recruitment in Army should be brought equal to Gorkhas. Singh has forcefully appealed to Rajnath Singh to take back the Balidan Stambh at Jammu which was handed over to J&K govt in 2009 which is now in deplorable condition and Kashmir centric govt led by Omar Abdullah not released a single penny for its maintenance, where names of more than 5000 officers and jawans were inscribed which are now missing . Singh has been raising this issue with all the Defence ministers and recent reply from Nirmala Sitaraman has exposed Omar Abdullah not to release a penny so the state govt under President rule the Governor would handover those war memorial to Ministry of Defence immediately where.
