BJP leaders in Jammu have not guts to speak against police 'atrocities'
6/19/2019 12:07:59 AM

Early Times Report
Jammu, June 18: Leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu region have turned a blind eye towards Jammu turning into a police state.
An analyst said, "The BJP which won 25 seats in 2014 Assembly elections has disappointed people to the hilt. These leaders have never raised their voice against the police atrocities. They fear police department so much that they don't want to annoy any of the officers by raising the voice."
He said, "During the past five years many incidents have taken place in Jammu region where police officers have misused their power and position to settle their personal scores. Many people have been beaten up without any rhyme or reason but BJP leaders have never spoken. What a shame for them."
"BJP leaders and other politicians in Jammu region should learn from Sikh leaders and muster some courage to speak up," the analyst added.
