JAMMU, June 19: A day-long awareness-cum-demonstration programme held today at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the supervision of DySP Shashi Thakur, Deputy Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the camp, NCC cadets were made aware about the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Firefighting, Flood Rescue and other Emergency rescue methods of Rescue along with demonstration by the Civil Defence instructors. While speaking on the occasion, Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden, Thakur Ranjit Singh, Deputy Chief Warden and R Vijay Mangotra Deputy Divisional Warden Civil Defence Jammu delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. Colonel Sanjeev Chauhan, Administrative Officer and SM Deepak Singh appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked Civil Defence team for organizing such important awareness-cum-demonstration programme. |
