Can't see my people suffering, getting choked: Munish
6/23/2019 11:46:23 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, June 23: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Sunday said that mass contact programme launched by him has brought politicians out of their comfort zones.
"During the past few days politicians are trying to take credit for the works being carried out by the Governor's administration. They are seen cutting ribbons and waiting for photo opportunity sessions," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
He said, "During all these years the leaders, who have appeared on the scene ahead of elections now, had forgotten the people, who had voted for them.
Now they are feeling the heat as their dismal performance is getting highlighted."
Munish said, "I have come to people with an open heart as I want to do something for them. I can't see my people suffering and getting choked. Our country is progressing at a rapid pace but Jammu is lagging far behind. Had our leaders concentrated on development people would not have been suffering due to lack of basic amenities."
He said, "It's nice to see that my campaign has woken up the politicians from the deep slumber and they are making last ditch efforts to make their presence felt. But people know it very well that these are just publicity stunts and nothing else."
