Learn from your mistakes, reject non- performers: Munish to people
6/25/2019 12:33:32 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 24: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Monday said that people in Jammu are suffering due to the lackadaisical attitude of the former MLAs and the leaders.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish told the people that “We need to learn from our mistakes. The biggest mistake which we have committed during all these years is that we just closed our eyes and followed the politicians blindly,” said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Munish said that “during the past few days I have toured many areas which fall in Gandhi Nagar constituency. People everywhere are up in arms against the former legislators, who during all these years have not done much for the people. They have failed to even provide basic amenities to the people. In every locality people are craving for water, electricity, drains and cleanliness but no one seems bothered about their plight.”
He told people to think before they cast their vote rather than once again giving a chance to people who have misled them during all these years. “The forthcoming Assembly elections are a golden opportunity to teach non-performers a lesson,” he added.
