6/25/2019 12:34:20 AM

Early Times Report
Jammu, June 24: The journalists on Monday staged a protest against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) outside the BJP head office at Trikuta Nagar here.
The journalists said that they were asked to leave from party office bearers meeting by party national general secretary (org).
Taking serious exception to the same, the journalists entered into heated arguments with BJP leadership and left the venue in protest.
The even warned to boycott BJP functions and party programmes in future and left the hall.
Some journalists said if they were not to be allowed to enter the office bearers meeting then why invitations were sent to them.
They alleged this way they were harassed by BJP leadership. Later a woman scribe who refused to leave the venue entered into a heated argument with the BJP leaders and asked the scribes to leave party office in protest.
It may be recalled that BJP had extended its invitation to media circles asking them to attend today's party office bearers meeting to be addressed by party national general secretary Ram Lal. However, when media reached the venue they were asked to leave.
