'Teach Pak stooges a lesson, don't talk to them'
'Hurriyat leaders can't even go to toilet without Pak's consent'

Early Times Report
Jammu, June 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik stating that Hurriyat Conference is ready for talks has triggered a debate.
"Soon after the Governor Malik said that the separatists are ready for talks the Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stated that the amalgam has never opposed the talks. In a way it endorsed the Governor's statement," said an analyst.
However, on the very next day there was a "twist in the tale" Hurriyat (M) issued another statement urging Government of India to respond to the repeated offer of dialogue of Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan. "Pakistan PM Imran Khan's repeated offer of dialogue on all issues between India and Pakistan including the Kashmir issue should also be seriously considered as a way forward," the spokesman of the amalgam said.
An observer said that "it appears that Hurriyat dove Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been reprimanded by his handlers sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) for expressing his willingness to talk to New Delhi that's why his amalgam took a U-turn within 24 hours."
He said, "Hurriyat leaders are no independent entities and they cannot take any decision on their own. They can't even go to a toilet without seeking the approval from Pakistan, talking to New Delhi that too without the consent of their bosses sitting across the LoC is out of question."
A Kashmir watcher said, "The investigating agencies since 2016 have torn the Hurriyat apart. These agencies have exposed their sources of funding and have proved it beyond doubt that these so-called leaders have been filling their coffers to keep the pot boiling in Kashmir."
He said, "Holding talks with Hurriyat should be the last option and that too when these so-called leaders agree to contest the elections to prove their representative character. At present they are nothing more than the self-styled leaders."
An analyst said, "Hurriyat leaders in the Valley are desperate. Somehow they want to break the ice as they know it very well that if the GoI continues with its present policy they would end up in jails. At present second rung separatists and Pak stooges are cooling their heels in Tihar jail. The details of their financial transactions have exposed them. It has become clear that they at the behest of the bosses sitting across the LoC burnt schools in Kashmir and orchestrated stone pelting."
He said, "The Government of India needs to teach these Pak stooges lesson rather than talking to them."
