Give and take mechanism ruining J&K: Munish to people
'Need your support to wipe out corruption'
6/27/2019 12:34:45 AM
Early Times Report
Jammu, June 26: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Wednesday asked people to come forward and raise their voice against the prevailing corruption in the state.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "We have to join our hands to bring Jammu out of the prevailing mess. The system during the years has evolved in such a way that nothing happens without give and take."
"The forthcoming Assembly elections are a golden opportunity for us to eject the people, who have acted as mute spectators during all these years. Politicians maintaining silence over such sensitive issues has encouraged corrupt elements to carry on their activities without any fear" said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Munish said, "I have taken one step, now it's your turn to come forward and support me. I have come to you people with an open heart and am hopeful that you would support me. I cannot do anything without your support."
He urged people to give him a chance to become their representative. "I assure you that if I am elected I will try my best to end the give and take mechanism and would see to it that the elements, who exploit the common man for their benefits are shown their right place," said Munish.
