Clinical Media Xi outplays LG XI by 31 runs

Jammu, July 2: Cashing on the ongoing Cricket fever amidst Cricket World Cup, LG Electronics India organised LG Mirchi Cricket League in association with Mirchi 98.3 Jammu, wherein a friendly cricket match between LG XI and Media XI Cricket was organized at KC sports club, Jammu.
Winning the toss, Media XI led by Vivek Suri elected to bat first and posted modest 45 runs on scoreboard in the stipulated 15 overs. Yash 11, Ashu 10 and Sunil 8 remained the prominent contributors for Media XI. For LG XI, Udhesh was the wrecker in chief who took 3 wickets in his 3 overs, Rajkumar also took 2 wickets.
Chasing the target LG XI were bowled out on paltry 14 runs and lost the match by 31 runs courtesy, the disciplined bowling by Media XI bowlers coupled with excellent fielding. Vivek Suri who bowled excellent spell and took 3 wickets, was the pick of the bowlers for Media XI, while Dev Thakur also scalped 2 wickets. Vivek Suri of Media XI was declared as Player of the Match.
