Gurha Slathia, People stage protest against PHE department over the issue of water crisis

Vijaypur, July 2: The residents of Gurha Slathia area of Vijaypur today strong protest demonstration against the Public health engineering department over the issue of the shortage of water at Vijaypur in District Samba here today.
According to the report, a large number of people of gurha slathia assembled in outside the PHE office vijaypur under the leadership of Sarpanch Makhan Lal, they raised slogan against the officer of the PHE department, they said that last many days that the PHE department fail to provide the regular water supply to the people, due to this the people of that area facing lot of troubles for without water during the hot summer days, but the officer of the said department totally silent on this issue.
They also said that many times they made request to the senior officer of the said department, but they make fake promise with them, although the officer of the said department also failed to provide the water tanker in this area. The woman also facing lot of problems while cooking the food in the kitchen.
They warned if the PHE department did not restore the water supply in their area then they will force to come road and blocked the Jammu Pathankot National Highway and launch string protest against the said department.
Among other those present including Jyoti Devi, Darshan Lal, Krishan chand, Harbans Lal and others.
