Jammu, July 2: Sandhya Gupta was honored with Indian Icon Award in function held at New Delhi. Indian Icon Awards wad organised in Radisson Blu, Dwarka. The award was organized to honour 65 eminent persons from different fields from all over the country such as education, farming, sports, and business. A lifestyle magazine was also launched on this occasion by the chief guest for the occasion, Hansraj Hans (MP South Delhi). Bollywood actress, Malvika Raj also graced the occasion. The award function director, Pooja Dahiya and chief, Mandeep Pandit stated that the ideas behind these awards are to motivate other people to excel in their respective fields so that they can achieve success and shining glory. Vidisha and Savitri Chaudhary was also honoured by the title of Miss Deaf India.
Sandhya Gupta was chosen to be awarded from J&K, she was honoured by the title of the best fashion designer and the best social worker of the state. Sandhya Gupta (founder of Women Club 'Meri Pehchaan') was also a guest of honour of the function, she honoured many eminent personalities like Bollywood actress, Malvika Raj by giving them awards. Sandhya Gupta also said that she is a proud daughter of J&K who will keep on doing good work for the society and citizens of the country. She stated that platforms like Indian Icon Award help in encouraging people to do good for the country. She is thankful for the support of the people around her. |
