Jammu, July 2: One day awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness Camp NCC cadets were make aware about the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, Flood Rescue and other Emergency rescue methods of Rescue alongwith demonstration by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion, Shashi Thakur, Dy.SP, Deputy Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden, Thakur Ranjit Singh, Deputy Chief Warden have delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization.
Major Saya Kotwal, Administrative Officer and SM Hardev Singh were highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked Civil Defence team for organizing such important awareness-cum-demonstration programme.
They have also advised the cadets to become good human beings to serve the society by joining such organization.
At least 400 cadets (Boys &Girls) of Jammu province and other training staff of NCC were attended the awareness programme. |
