| Mayor JMC visits Channi Himmat area | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 2: Continuing the drive to provide better basic amenities to the people of Jammu City. Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today visited Channi Himmat & its adjoining areas of ward no 50 along with Councilor Neena Gupta, Health Officer JMC Dr. Saleem Khan concerned Sanitation Officer, Asstt Sanitation Officer & other field staff of JMC. He interacts with the inhabitants of Channi Himmat area who put forth their demands to provide better sanitation in their locality, disilting of deep drains /nallahs completely to avoid any water logging& over flowing of dirty water during rainy season, proper fogging, lifting of stray dogs /animals on routine basis, repairing of defunct & installation of new streets lights in their locality. Mayor Listened to their grievances patiently & assured that all their demands may be sort out on priority basis. He directed all the officers accompanying with him during the tour to personally monitor the major grievances of the inhabitants of Channi Himmat on daily basis. He also appeal to the inhabitants not to use polythene & donot throw garbage , filth etc on the public lanes & drains & cooperate with the JMC staff to make their ward neat clean & green . |
