Jammu, July 4: With the aim of equipping faculty members with required skills and knowledge, a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was organised by "Spoken Tutorial Project of IIT, Bombay" at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology on "Libre Office Suite".
All Faculty Members from the Department of Applied Sciences attended the FDP. The session started with the inaugural address by Er. B.R Verma, Director YCET.
The objective of this FDP is to learn several applications of Libre Office that makes it one of the most versatile Free and Open Source office suites in the market: Writer (word processing), Calc (spreadsheets), Impress (presentations), Draw (vector graphics and flowcharts), Base (databases), and Math (formula editing). Libre Office is a powerful and free office suite, used by millions of people around the world.
Its clean interface and feature-rich tools help you unleash your creativity and enhance your productivity.
Er. Dinesh Gupta, Assistant Professor Computer & IT Engg. Department was the coordinator of the said Faculty Development Program.
YCET provides the best learning atmosphere to its faculty and students.
All the faculty members actively participated in the programme and thanked the management for providing such platform to them for learn.
