Rtn Dr Amla appointed as President of RCJ

Jammu, July 5: In a very impressive function Rtn Dr Anil Amla was installed as President of the Rotary Club Jammu . The installation of the new President of the club was conducted by Rtn Ashish Langer Asstt Governor Rotary international District 3070 in the presence of Rtn Harish Gulati the Zonal Chairman. In his chief Guest Address Rtn Ashish Langer Asstt Governor informed the Rotarian presents regarding various activities and projects of the Rotary international. In his Presidential address Dr Amla thanked the club members and the Rotarians present in the functions for giving him opportunity to serve the humanity. He pledged that the projects in hands will be further boosted in his tenure. He pledged and assured Rtn Sawhney to support the Gift of Sight project during his tenure also. In his Presidential address outgoing President of the club Rtn Dr Navneet Gupta highlighted the achievement of the club in various Projects. He highlighted that more than 18 projects were completed during his tenure of one year by the Rotary Club Jammu. He informed the house that the club has managed cornea transplantation of more than 30 blind persons under Gift of Sight Project by which the persons were able to see the world with transplanted cornea .
