| Man arrested with liquor in Solki | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, July 5: Police on Friday arrested a person along with desi liquor produced in local working still. A team of police headed by SHO Dharamsal Amit Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma was on routine patrolling in Solki village area when a man was seen moving with a plastic container who started to move suspiciously after noticing cops on patrolling. Sensing suspicion, the accused was detained and the container was found filled with 4.5 litres of desi liquor. The man identified as Madan Lal alias Khemraj son of Babu Ram resident of Solki has been arrested and a case FIR 42/19 U/S 48(a) Excise Act has been registered against the accused person. Good evening Sir, today at about 2100 hours, during patrolling and vehicle checking at Varun Chowk katra, police party of PS Katra intercepted one Innova no.JK14C/5627 during search approximately 400 grams Poppy straw (Bhukki) recovered from the possession of one person namely Aslam Choudhary son of Reham Ali Choudhary residdent of Treen Meyari Teh. katra Distt. Reasi. In this regard a Case FIR no. 163/19 U/S 8/15 NDPS act stands registered in PS Katra. Police on job. |
