NDKM holds meeting

JAMMU, July 8: A meeting of executive members of Namaan Duggar Kala Manch Bhambla (Pouni) was held under the presidentship of Mohinder Sharma'Guddu' a renowned poet. The main agenda of the meeting was the overall development of NDKM Bhambla (Pouni) which is to promote Dogri, art and Culture among the budding generation.
During the inaugural session Mohinder suggested to broaden the horizon of the Manch at various nooks and corners of the Zone which is possible by activating various units across the rural periphery. During his address Dharm Paul Sharma, General Secretary of Namaan Dugar Kala Manch Bhambla (Pouni) demanded the introduction of Dogri as a subject in all newly upgraded Higher Secondary Schools of the region. He further demanded a separate Dogri television Channel for Jammu region.
Kasturi Lal Sharma an active member and vice president of the NDKM suggested to organize the activities at regular interval of time so that coordination among the members of the Manch be enhanced. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma , Publicity Secretary of the unit also stressed upon the implementation of dogri language right from below primary to college level.
Lastly president of NDKM Bhambla stressed upon the issue regarding the implementation of dogri. He said that our dogri loving people are being denied their representation in educational institutions and the our children who have acquired degrees in dogri remain wandering in search of job which is an obstacle in the way of dogri.
