Mayor JMC takes stock of problems of Gandhi Nagar area

Jammu, July 8: Continuing his drive to provide better basic & development facilities to the people of Jammu city, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today toured in the areas of Gole Market, Apsra Road Gandhi Nagar & other adjoining areas of W.No.21 & took stock of the grievances of residents of well as shopkeepers of these areas. Bhanu Mahajan, Councilor of W.No.21, Pankaj Mangotra, Commissioner JMC, Pardeep Singh Manhas Joint Commissioner (A) S. Yash Pal Singh, Joint Commissioner (Works) Arun Gupta Xen, Dr. Saleem Khan Health Officer, Laxmi Singh Jamwal Xen(E) Anil Gupta & Ashok Sharma AEEs & other field staff of JMC were also present during the tour.
Besides this, president of Apsara Road Market association & their other representatives also accompanied with the Mayor touring the tour of the area.
They put forth before him that renovation work of the gate at the entrance of Apsara road may be completed on war footing as the same has already been delayed. Moreover SKC's may be deployed at the Apsara Road Bazar & its adjoining lanes on routine basis, new street lights may be installed in the market, broken drains / lanes may be repaired & blacktopping of road may be done.
