Doda, July 09: After heavy rainfall across Chenab valley District in Doda-Kishtwar, sudden flash floods were hits the areas at various places of Doda and Kishtwar District on Tuesday morning, reports said.
The Chenab Valley experienced heavy rainfall triggering landslides and flood like situation at several places of hilly areas and disturbing the normal life entire the region.
While the bad weather continued from last evening in Chenab Valley and the Chenab River and Nallah's rises into dangerous level.
Reports said high range areas like Chiralla, Drabshalla, Saroor, Marmat, Banihal, Gundna Bhalessa, Dessa has witnessed rainfall since last night due to which various links roads are blocked.
Jammu region is likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours. Director Meteorological department Sonam Lotus, tweeted, "Expect Good Rain in J&K as well especially Jammu div." |
