Leaders have let down large-hearted Jammu people: Munish
7/9/2019 11:46:37 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, July 9: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Tuesday said that Jammu becoming a second home for the people from different areas of the state has turned the Jammu into the most vibrant region in the state.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "Jammu has welcomed everyone with the open arms which has led to people from other areas coming here and getting settled here permanently."
"People of Jammu are large-hearted and they have proved it on many occasions. Leaders, who have represented the people of Jammu during all these years, have ignored the fact that people of Jammu region need more basic amenities and for that infrastructure needs to be developed as the population has increased manifolds during the past few years," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
He said, "Most mohallas and areas in Jammu city are without basic amenities as no attempt has been made to improve the infrastructure despite population of these areas increasing manifolds. There is no doubt about the fact that Jammu has accommodated the people from every region of the state but nothing has been done by our leaders to make their lives easy."
Munish said, "If I win the elections I assure my people that their day to day problems will be resolved and I will try my best to ensure that people are not deprived of the basic amenities. The forthcoming Assembly elections are a golden opportunity for us to vote for a change and lay the foundation of new Jammu."
