UDHAMPUR, July 10: Raising the water scarcity problem of Udhampur constituency, Former MLA & NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia today calls on Chief Engineer PHE Dr Sanjeev Kumar Chadda at Jammu. Mankotia apprised him with the water crisis at Udhampur town & adjoining villages, he said that from last 4 yrs people were suffering from water scarcity problem & demanded for one extra Water Tanker during Amarnath Yatra because currently only two water tankers are supplying water to approximately 40 Amarnath Yatra Langers, he added
Mankotia demands for new water scheme for Udhampur town & panchayats which can give sigh of relief to common peoples as well as demands for revision in ongoing water scheme at Thanoa.
NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia also demands to release pending wages of all daily rated workers/daily wagers & also demands to regularise them.
He discussed the water scarcity problem of Garnai, Malhar, Jib Thathi, Neeli Nalah, Kembal Danga, Mand, Tikri, Badola, Sunari, Chakk, Padanoo, Sui, Jakhar, Gandala, Seen Thakran, Battal Balian, Rathian, Kotli Megani, Sial Jattan, Krimchi Mansar Panchayats & Udhampur town.
